The µSR conference is an international event providing a platform for researchers from across the world to discuss advances made in the applications of μSR in a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) materials and molecular sciences, condensed matter physics, chemistry and biology. The conference consists of a series of poster presentations, abstracts and interactive panels.
The forthcoming event is being jointly organised by muon groups at Parma University, Italy (under the coordination of the Yamazaki prize-awarded Prof Roberto De Renzi) and the ISIS Pulsed Neutron and Muon facility in the UK.
A student day is planned. Compared to previous meetings, a new format is anticipated, giving students the chance to talk about their PhD research and their use of muon spectroscopy.
