MuSIC

The MuSIC muon centre (Muon Science Innovative muon beam Channel) at the Research Centre for Nuclear Physics is Japan’s first high-intensity muon beam facility with a continuous-time structure is being built at the Osaka University Nuclear Physics Research Center. MuSIC is composed of a muon generator and muon beamline, and was built in the Nuclear Physics Research Center West Laboratory. The MuSIC project is being promoted by the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization in cooperation with the Kuno laboratory at the Graduate School of Science, Osaka University and the Nuclear Physics Research Center.
